One part of this web site (see above) is called 'Individual Advice'. As part of my service to mankind I offer free individual advice on a wide range of topics, wherever I can help. I am a financial expert for example, but my advice ranges from health topics (I have written articles on numerous issues) to love sex and marriage.
Another part of my web site gives information about my 23 books on numerous topics including:
*emotions and disturbed emotions
*mental issues and how to help
*love life
*sex life
*marriage - how to find a partner, what next
*happiness - how to generate this
*philosophy
*health and how to maitain it
*developing along religious lines
*yoga and why you need to be careful about practising this
*yoga philosophy and why this is different from what you think
*ancient Indian scriptures Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita
The books have been published in many languages and are available from any bookseller in the world. They can be purchased also from my publisher, eBooksLib. The books can be downloaded free of charge and also brief details about all the books can be found by clicking here: Books. More details in the languages that the books have been published in appears if you click on the flags at the top of this page.
The books take an innovative approach and are not based on standard Western approaches and therefore give you at the least a different outlook on solving your specific issues.
In my painting, the three roses represent the gift of yourself to your primary true love, body, mind and soul (prior to the marriage to Him or Her that you pine for). Neither of you should marry if you believe that true love will not develop between you. Life is about:
- for a woman, finding your true love, marrying him, and then having a family life together
- for a man, finding your Goddess to worship, and, in addition, marrying the woman who finds you to be her true love.
It sounds simple, which it is. There are many men who will suit a particular woman, and vice versa. However, even if one sets about dating properly, the actual marriage to your 'true love' can still go wrong, because of various life circumstances (your karma).
Life
is not about your job or your health or
even your happiness. In this age it is
not always possible to find true love
in human form. In my articles, for example
'How to Choose a Wife'. I give some suggestions about
how to do the best you can. But some of
you are not in that fortunate position.
You may be in a difficult marriage with
children, disadvantaged in some way or
you may not look like a fashion model,
or 1000 other reasons. So what can you
do? You should not spend years drifting
for Mr or Mrs Right to come your way.
You and your family need to put all good
effort into marriage and have a timescale
of no more than 6 months, after which
you should put your fate in God's hands.
Then, just like a child, you can create
("imagine") your own god or
goddess. Someone who looks just the way
you want him or her to look, loves you
as you want to be loved, cares for you
with tenderness, and who will do anything
good, just for you. Whatever you want,
create him or her for you. Your imagination
was given to you by God for you to use
productively. Keep an open mind, try it
out and see whether it works for you.
Both the man and woman need marriage to
Of course some of
you will have been fortunate in having
been brought up believing in your God.
By 'your God' I mean, for a woman, one
of the deities such as Shri Krishna, Shri
Rama, Balaji, Ganesh,..
For your children,
so that they do not in later life need
to start the process with creating an
imaginary true love, you need to read
to them the Indian Puranas with their tales of the lives of
the Hindu gods and goddesses, the sages
and saints. These tales are the perfect
romantic stories, the fairy tales
that your child needs for its development.
It should be
noted that in the past the peoples of
every country (Egypt, Africa, Russia,
North America, Ireland, Europe, South
America,..) all had gods and goddesses
who were worshipped. You in your country
can also explore your country's traditions
and see which god or representation of
god is good for you. Your
local gods are waiting to be worshipped,
patiently. However, the choice of a god
to worship is individual to each woman
and in this age, the Hindu gods are more
accessible to most and you should not
waste time on trying to find a 'forgotten'
deity who in the end may not be your suitable. Similarly the religious
traditions of your country have largely
been eliminated, with 'witches' (saints)
often being burnt at the stake, etc. You
should not worry about this but focus
on your own progress.
One purpose of the Bhakti
Yoga web site is to give such advice
to those of you who have a desire to worship
God.
Seekers
after God face difficulties. The main
difficulty is that there are many who
claim to represent God.
Whom you love, whom
you serve, whom you listen to, needs to
be chosen with great care, just as when
a woman chooses a husband.
When you choose your
god or goddess, and pursue Him or Her
diligently, He or She will look after you.
He or She does not mind about your looks,
or your age, or your broken heart, or
your ability to give love.
He or She will not
look after you whilst you are breaking the
5 moral codes of yama (non violence, truthfulness,
not stealing, chastity and absence of
greed) or are not committed to the religious
principles of worshipping God as set out
in the Yoga Sutras.
Some
say that you need to have a guru. There
are no gurus in the world at present,
and following a false guru will slow your
progress (see No
Need for a Guru or Spiritual Master).
It
is highly beneficial for you to associate
with saints: a human being who performs
Karma Yoga. However, one needs to be careful:
see for example:
